Bolt: No Business Like Show Business (Part 11)
[The following chapter contains CiD. A male and female character are bound and gagged.] Whatever reservations Bolt still had towards Sonny were vanquished the second the ropes hogtying his paws were snapped. Like a spring, his two sets of legs flew free of one another, and he let out a "Hmmmh ..." of relief as he stretched them, even while the ropes still rubbed into his fur. Sonny gave him a second to get used to even this limited freedom, before the smaller dog looked up at the Rottweiler. His golden eyes shimmered with newfound trust, and he pled, "Hmmm," imploring the dog to keep going. Sonny happily obliged, and it only took a few more minutes of chewing and pulling to get Bolt's legs totally free. The fur where the ropes had been was, unsurprisingly, flattened and torn, and there were prominent bruises that he knew wouldn't fade soon. He very feebly tried to stand on all fours, huffing through his gag, stumbling as he shook his legs off. The leather muzzle was a bit tougher

[The following chapter contains CiD. A male and female character are bound and gagged.] Mittens and Rhino were going down. They could hear the quiet whirring of an elevator. They could feel the descent, the floor beneath them slightly trembling as Baldy put the bag down. And they'd heard what Zurchill told Baldy and Blondy right before the sinking had started. "Once you're both down there, no one is to go in or out until the cops are gone," she said. Baldy nodded with such vigor that it shook his whole body. "And you," Zurchill pointed to Blondy, whom she'd ordered to go down to keep himself hidden. "Hand over your phone." It took multiple attempts of desperate stalling, but Blondy eventually brought himself to put the device in Zurchill's hand. As she yanked it away, he tried to savor the feeling of his fingers brushing against its glossy, well-polished surface. His arm remained outstretched, calling out to the beautiful corners and oh-so-pressable button, saddened as his

[This chapter contains CiD. A male and female character are bound and gagged.] The entire time he was being taken back to his cage, Bolt was seeing red through watery eyes. His rapidly shaking line of sight was blurred as he still tossed himself and battled to get out of the grasp of Blondy, who this time held him by the scruff of his neck while Baldy walked behind him. "MMMMMNNNMMM!!!!!" So adamant was Bolt to escape that his captors had brought his already-bound front and back legs all together with a new coil of rope, hogtying him again. On top of that, they'd reapplied that horrid leather muzzle, placing it over the ropes already tied around his jaws! He was brought back inside that dark, cold room of cages, marched down the narrow path, still seeing the same dogs from before. Some of them were muzzled, some of them were not, and all of them still looked at him with pity. Pity that he wasn't buying. "Mmmmm mmmnnmmm mmm!!?" Are you all in on this too!!? he roared in his head

[This chapter contains GiD. A male character is bound and gagged.] "ARGIS is a product of state-of-the-art computer programming and scanning," Zurchill announced to a wide-eyed group. "Through the advanced cameras wired into the system, it can scan physical imagery, sound, movement, and expressions, learn from them, and use that knowledge to create new content completely on its own." A few of the audience members eyed each other in disbelief, with one of them even snickering. Zurchill just crossed her arms, eager to shut down their feeble doubts. She nodded to Baldy, who continued typing away on one of the keyboards, putting in the commands he'd prepared beforehand. After twenty seconds of toe-tapping impatience from the group, they were finally greeted to a new set of two aimages in a sea of green, one on each of the monitors. One was a Golden Retriever running up to "greet" them from a distance, then standing up in a begging position. The audience could see fear in his eyes, like

[This chapter contains GiD. A male character is bound and gagged.] "Hey, Christie." The dark-skinned police officer called his female partner over to him. "I think I may have something." The other cop came over to his desk, setting her coffee down and looking at his monitor. They'd both been hard at work for hours trying to find the van that had taken Bolt. Their boss had given them access to some of the feeds from cameras across multiple counties, but certainly not enough for any sort of trail to be mapped out. That was why Christie had also called in multiple favors from a few of their friends with access to feeds their chief simply wouldn't let them see. There were obviously a lot of black vans out there; their goal was to find any that could feasibly have come from the scene of the crime, and then try to narrow the search from there. And now, finally, Christie was finding those favors might be paying off. "Geez, Jack," she said. She was looking at over a dozen images and

[The following chapter contains GiD. A male character is bound and gagged.] Penny wasn't too pleased when she was woken up by two persistent paws pressing into her face. "Umm ... whuh ...??" The girl loved her cat too much to be that annoyed with her, but she did find it odd when Mittens, a creature who was usually more casual and relaxed with people, seemed so determined to get her out of bed. Penny tried to give her a few scritches on the side of her face, but Mittens pulled away, trying to convey that she wanted Penny up, and pronto. No time for the lovey stuff, kid, Mittens thought. Your golden boy may be in trouble. Her wish was granted, albeit slowly, when Penny sluggishly rolled her way out of bed and onto her feet. "What's wrong, girl?" She was nearly slurring her words. "You out of food?" Mittens just raced past the doorway, already halfway down the stairs by the time Penny got to the top. Through a series of painfully slow stop-and-gos and unmoving stares, she lured
